Pain is something I’ve become familiar with in the last few weeks. Alhumdulilah I never use to get ill, but in the last six months illness has become a very big part of life. First I lost tons of weight courtesy of getting ill when I went back home. I become anemic, my back was killing me constantly and then I had a flu every other week. Recently I don’t even remember the last time I felt 100%. I’m losing life again, I can feel myself slipping. My body is shutting down, maybe I’m getting old, this is what it feels like to get old. Finally I know, I have reached that age. Either that or I need to get away, I must stop sitting and studying on my bed because my back is gone. My bed side table looks like a medicine cabinet. There is my Iron tablets, pain killers, more pain killers, Vitamin C. This is the most medication I’ve taken. In fact I never had a GP, never saw a doctor till I came back from back home in the summer.
Honestly I just need some sunshine and I think I’ll be fine. Maybe just need to up and leave again. It worked wonders for me last time. Traveling cures so many problems, for one thing it calms the soul, the new experience helps the aching muscles…..

Maybe you’re putting too much pressure on your body. I mean, maybe you overworking it. And it also seems like you stressing issues (although I dont really know what sorta issues).
Maybe you need a date. A date with your bed. How about..you take some time off and revisit “some famous” people in your dreams. Catch up on some rest cause true say, you already know…your body has a right over you.
In saying that…I see you on a roll today. Thats two posts in ONE DAY …Can you believe it?

^^^Loool @ can you believe it! I could not sleep last night hence the two post, you can also see I flooded SOL. lol.
I’m just getting old, and I need to come to terms with it, as you get older your body starts to fall apart. I have had several dates with my bed, the problem is I cannot sleep, I don’t sleep, I get bored lying there waiting for sleep. So I call people, I read, I write, I watch, I do everything but sleep. The mad thing is when I’m out or at work, or in lesson, I would kill to have my bed so I can sleep. I think my body is being Xaasid, it tempts me when i have tons of work to do and cannot afford to sleep. When I have nothing to do it does not want to hear about sleep. lol

Have you tried seeing a doctor to get some blood work done? Anemia would explain exhaustion, but the weight loss (or gain) and lack of sleep (or too much sleep) could mean a thyroid problem. Have that checked out to rule out any possible medical conditions, or catch any before you start to feel worse. And like Br.Ameen mentioned, stress can put a lot of pressure on your body, so take it easy and relax.
And of course, it’s always important to look at your diet and what you’ve been eating lately. What you put into your body is the fuel, so if things aren’t running properly, it’s the first place to look. And exercise too! I can guarantee you I have the worst sleeping problems ever, and I don’t think I’ve ever slept better than when I’d hit the gym late at night, take a hot shower and pass out on my bed as soon as I’d get home.
Take care of yourself sis! An elderly man jogged past me the other day, so there’s no reason why you should give up on your health as young as you are.

Safia sis I’m anemic. I do hate the gym though. lol. Me and food have a funny relationship. I never diet, I eat when I’m hungry, and I eat whatever I feel like. Some elderly people are so fit, mashallah. Stress yeah I agree; my thesis is taking a lot out of me. lol
Thanks for your advise guys.
